Ben Folds just turned 50 about a month ago. I listened to a lot of Ben Folds during the early years of grad school in Louisville, circa 1996. I can remember listening to Brick in the cockroach-infested tiny kitchen of our little apartment, with our crack dealing neighbor who I got evicted that stole my guitar.
