He was going to build a laptop-tablet thing, he said, but he was going to crowdsource everything about it. "That's a bullshit idea," the guy said, and walked away. A few steps later, he turned around and came back. "No," he said, "this is the future." The Intel exec (who Karatsevidis declines to identify) is now a key mentor to Eve, and helped introduce the company to everyone worth knowing in the manufacturing world.
