Yes, you can make money with Smugmug. I have had almost 8 MILLION hits on my Smugmug site in about the last 2 years. I shoot 90% sports. But, I've created a marketing system to support the Smugmug galleries based on websites and other forms of marketing. Every one ends up at Smugmug. I've created my own niche market. I think that's important. I also do things like collages and posters which are important sales sources for me, but about 50% of my sales are from Smugmug prints. I work hard but am making a living.
