So I've set up Org Mode to sync across three devices:

An old Kindle Fire
Ipad 9.6" amateur, using the Beorg app
Macbook pro, using EmacsforOSX

I used to read about the battles surrounding Xemacs, but apparently it is no longer maintained.  Nothing lasts.
